Shaping public art at scale

As Public Art Manager for Ottawa Light Rail Transit’s Confederation Line, I oversaw the delivery of 18 permanent artworks across 12 stations. I managed artist selection, contracts, design development, fabrication, and installation, serving as the primary liaison between artists, the City of Ottawa, and the project consortium. I expanded the initial competition to national artists, resulting in notable commissions by Geoff McFetridge and Douglas Coupland, and supported emerging artists in realizing their first public works.
